Ric Mountjoy

General Manager

Ric is a founder and General Manager of nabokov, and works as a freelance Production Manager, Theatrical Electrician and Lighting Designer. He has recently worked with English National Opera and the Birmingham Royal Ballet, and was previously the Chief Electrician for the National Student Drama Festival. As a Production Manager, Ric has worked extensively on the Edinburgh and London Fringes, also managing tours internationally and productions in regional venues. Recent projects have included outdoor and site-specific work, for example 1139 Miles in a found space in Bradford for Slung Low Theatre Company. Ric has production managed all nabokov’s new productions.

Ric is developing his skills as a Lighting Designer, having worked with many of the best designers in the UK, and has designed lighting for national and regional touring productions. Recent designs include Helium, the acclaimed Samuel Beckett Prize show for Slung Low at the Barbican, and The Swing Left for Unlimited Theatre at the North Wall, Oxford.
